Competition Details:

  • Each contestant will have up to 3 minutes to recite as many digits of π as possible from memory.
  • Judges will stop contestants at the first incorrect digit, and the score will be the number of correct digits recited.
  • No notes or digital devices are allowed.
  • In the event of a tie, contestants will alternate reciting digits until one makes a mistake.

Due to logistical limitations, we will be capping participation at 15 contestants for Grades 6-12 (20 contestants for Grades 3-5).

Below are the following divisions:

  • Grades 3-5 in the Auditorium (Period 4)
  • Grades 6-8 in the Auditorium (Period 6)
  • Grades 9-12 in the Auditorium (Period 7)

Sign-ups will be first-come, first-served through our google form. The deadline for registration will be by the end of day this Wednesday and we will send an email the day before the competition on Thursday confirming your registration.
