REGENTS EXAMS

NO REGULAR CLASSES FOR GRADES 9-12 STUDENTS.

There are NO regular classes in schedule during Regents Exam administration for UG students. Please go by this schedule’s times, not the one posted by New York State; students only attend school to take their scheduled exams.
1. Students report to school at 8:00am for morning exams.
2. Students report to school at 12:30pm for afternoon exams.
Students will receive the invitations for exams on Monday, June 8. Please reach out to your guidance counselor if you are not sure if you are scheduled for an exam.
Students will not be allowed into the testing room after 9:30am for morning exams and 2:00pm for afternoon exams. Please refer to the running times of all Regents exams below.

Morning Exams

(students arrive 30 min before)

Doors close at 9:30am

Students cannot leave until 10:30am

Afternoon Exams

(students arrive 30 min before)

Doors close at 2pm

Students cannot leave until 3:00pm

1:00-4:00pm

1:00-5:30pm

1:00-7:00pm

Once students complete their exam, they are dismissed from school and do not need to stay for the entirety of the exam (please note: students will not be allowed to leave until two hours into an exam to ensure they have thoughtfully completed all required sections of an exam).
Students need to bring the following with them on the day of their exam(s):
1. sharpened number 2 pencils (no mechanical pencils, please)
2. pens
3. calculators (if applicable to exam)
4. compasses, straight edges, protractors (if applicable to exam)
5. water only - no other drinks (water allowed under desks during testing)
6. snacks
Students will find their room assignments posted in the Gallery Walk when they arrive for their exams.
All electronic devices must be turned off and placed in the front of the testing room.
