NEST+m First Day of School Procedures
➡️ Kindergarten Only
Kindergarten students should arrive at the Main Courtyard at 8:45 a.m. on the first day of school only. Parents/guardians may enter the courtyard with their children, where they will be directed to their child’s classroom lineup spot. Families will not be able to visit classrooms on the first day of school, but we welcome all families to visit on Curriculum Night, September 24, 4:30-7:30pm.
➡️ Students in Grades 1-5
Should arrive at the Main Courtyard by 8:15 a.m., where they will be directed to their classroom lineup spot. Parents/guardians may enter the courtyard with their children, where they will be directed to their child’s classroom lineup spot. (Students in grades 1-5 who are being picked up should be picked up in the same location at 2:30 p.m.) After the first day of school, all K-5 students will enter through the Columbia Street bus entrance.
➡️ Students in Grades 6-12
Middle and Upper Grades students should enter through the Columbia Street bus entrance (closest to the cafeteria) on Day 1 and head up to their first-period class. First-period classrooms will also be posted on the 3rd floor.
Staff members at the entrances and in the Lobby will have clipboards with classroom assignments for any student who needs help!
